Update: Dangerous driving and traffic crashes, Deeragun

Two people have been charged with multiple offences including dangerous driving in an incident that closed the Bruce Highway at Deeragun for five hours yesterday.

A 20-year-old Heatley man has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court today charged with unlawful entry of a vehicle to commit offence, attempted unlawful entry of a vehicle, driving a vehicle with number plates not attached, driving without a license, possessing drug utensils and two counts each of dangerous operation of a vehicle while adversely affected and evading police.
